Vaayuputra fame actor Chiranjeevi Sarja, who is presently
busy shooting Shiva Akula's debut venture Gandede with
Ragini Dwivedi, has signed to star in his third movie in Kannada.
The film is named after his pet name 'Chiru' and it will be
directed by Mussanje Maatu fame Mahesh Babu.
Chiranjeevi Sarja will play the male lead and newbie Kriti
Kharvanda will appear in female lead in his next film
Chiru, which is said to start shooting by March end. The
movie is a love story and for the first time, Chiranjeevi will be
falling in love. "I'll also be going in for a makeover for this
role," says Chiranjeevi.
Director Mahesh Babu had stayed away from the limelight for a
long time after Darshan starrer Abhay got a mixed response
from the audience. Now, he is making his comeback to Gandhinagar
with the film Chiru, which will be produced by
Mussanje Maatu fame Bharath Jain. Ram Narayan has written
dialogues for it.
