Challenging
star
Darshan-Praneetha
starrer
Kannada
movie
Porki
is
now
all
set
for
statewide
release
for
this
Sankranti
(January
14).
It
is
considered
as
the
biggest-budget
movie
in
Darshan
Tugudeep's
acting
career.
The
movie
has
been
presented
by
journalist
Ganesh
Kasargod.
"Kannada
movie
Porki
was
to
be
made
with
the
budget
of
Rs.
5.5
crores,
but
including
the
artistes
salary,
the
expenses
for
the
movie
have
reached
to
Rs.
7
crores," says
the
producer.
The
movie
Porki
is
directed
by
Ganda
Hendathi
fame
MD
Shridhar
and
produced
by
Dathathreya.
Krishna
Kumar

the
camera
for
the
movie
Porki,
which
has
been
shot
for
47
days
in
Bangalore,
Mysore,
Hyderabad
and
Switzerland.
The
specialty
of
the
movie
is
that
the
climax,
which
is
a
long
fight
sequence,
has
been
shot
for
20
days.
Shridhar
says
that
the
highlight
of
the
movie
is
the
fight
sequences.
Darshan
has
performed
the
stunts
without
using
a
duplicate.
V
Harikrishna
has
scored
music
for
five
songs
and
three
of
them
are
very
melodious.
Mumaith
Khan"s
sister
Zubeida
has
done
an
item
song.
The
audio
of
the
movie
was
released
to
market
with
15000
CDs.
"Now,
We
have
received
demand
list
for
more
number
of
CDs,"
owner
Velu
of
Lahari
Audios.
However,
the
film
Porki
is
a
remake
of
the
hit
Telugu
film
Pokkiri,
which
has
become
super
hit
movie.
The
movie
has
already
been
remade
in
Tamil
as
Pokiri
and
in
Hindi
as
Wanted.
Now,
the
question
is
that
will
this
Kannada
remake
impress
the
audience?
