Dhandam Dashagunam to start filming from June 24

Golden Girl Ramya and actor Chiranjeevi Sarja starrer movie Dhandam Dashagunam is now all set to go on the floors on this Thursday (June 24). The President of KFCC, Basanth Kumar Patil will light the lamp, the Home Minister of Karnataka, VS Acharaya will switch on the camera and CR Manohar will tap the clapper board.

Earlier, actor Sudeep was said to be acting and direct the movie Dhandam Dhashagunam for producer Shankare Gowda. But his friend-turned-foe Dinesh Gandhi, who has produced the movie Veera Madakari, had registered the title Dhandam Dhashagunam in concern for him. Later, he had sold it to producer Ganesh.

Now, Gaja and Raam fame K Madesha will be directing the flick Dhandam Dhashagunam, which is a remake of hit Tamil film Kaakha Kaakha starring Suriya and Jyothika in lead roles. It is a romantic-cum-action packed film. Vaayuptra star Chiranjeevi Sarja will be playing the cop while Sandalwood queen Ramya appears as a school teacher. V Harikrishna will score the music while CR Manohar wields the camera for the film.

However, the muhurtha of Dhandam Dhashagunam will witness several Sandalwood celebrities. Producer KCN Chandrasekhar, power star Puneet Rajkumar, Telugu actor Srikanth and Gautham Menon, who had directed the original film in Tamil, are among the special invitees.
