IFFI's tributes to Dr. Vishnuvardhan, KS Ashwath

The 41st International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2010 paid tributes to late veteran Kannada actors Dr. Vishnuvardhan and KS Ashwath, who died earlier this year 2010. The IFFI celebrated their works, which made them as well as Kannadigas unforgettable chapters of Indian cinema.

As a part of celebration of Indian Cinema, the IFFI remembered the works of 11 Indian artistes and film makers, who passed away in 2009-2010. The festival recalled the wonderful contribution to Indian films by them and paid tributes to them. Meanwhile, it also remembered the films done by Dr. Vishnu and KS Ashwath and praised their work.

However, IFFI 2010 is a big Indian film carnival, which has been going on in Goa for the past nine days. The ten days long festival will end with a closing ceremony tomorrow (December 02). Thirty four movies in different sections are being showcased on today. The last the of fest is going to be a grand gala event.
