Kicha's 11, Thriller Cobras face off at SPL 2010

The rift between the Kannada Actors' Association (KAA) and the Karnataka Dancers' Association (KDA) seems to have ended after the first match of the Sandalwood Premier League 2010 started in Davanagere today. Kicha's11 and Thriller Cobras are pitted against each other at the Dr. Rajkumar Cup Twenty20 Cricket Match.

It was reported earlier that the KAA would be organising 'Inter State Artistes' Cricket Match' on November 01 to raise funds to help the poor artistes. So the Association had warned all the actors not to take part in the cricket match organised by the Dancer Association.

But all eight teams have already reached Davanagere yesterday evening. Kicha Sudeep posted a comment on Twitter yesterday evening. He tweeted, "All 8 teams have landed at Davengere. SPL-2010 Cricket Tournament starts from tomorrow. Hopefully weather doesn't play spoil sport. Looking forward for good support.

However, the eight teams of SPL have been named as Kicha's 11, Legislative Lions, Lens Kings, Thriller Cobras, Editin Bulls, Directors 11, Media Hunters and Kings 11. All the players of the eight teams had gathered at one hall in Davangere yesterday night and enjoyed the dinner together. Posting a picture of the scene, Sudeep tweeted, "The 1st dinner night of the SPL at Davengere. A feast to watch all teams in one go inside one hall."
