Medical aid on Dr. Vishnuvardhan's death anniversary

Veteran Kannada actor Dr. Vishnuvardhan died at Vikram hospital in Mysore on 30th December exactly one year ago. The Sahasa Simha star used to help the poor people, who needed medical aid when he was alive and that was through Vikram Hospital in Mysore. Now, in association with Vibha Trust (Vishnuvadhan Bharathi Trust), many health organisations are holding different medical aid camps to extend support to poor people at Abhiman Studios today (30th December).

On the occasion of Dr. Vishnuvardhan's first death anniversary, Rotary International, Halappa Foundation, Manipal Hospitals, Unity Helpline Multi specialty hospital, Shekar Nethralaya, Victorial Hospital are set to provide various medical facilities to needy people. They are providing quick service at Abhiman Studios between 9 am and 2.30 pm today.

These organisations will offer free heart check up, dental check up, eye scanning, general health check up, guidance on Dialysis to general public at the Vishnu memorial. ECG van, cardio van, ambulance, nursing staff and technical staff will be available at the venue. Meanhwhile, a few of these hospitals are also organising blood donations, eye donation camps at the place.

However, a procession from National college grounds to Abhiman will be held this morning and this rally will be started by Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhan by releasing 10,000 balloons in the air. Vishnu's son-in-law Anirudh and other family members will be present in the procession. Later, Karnataka CM BY Yeddyurappa will lay foundation stone for Vishnu memorial.
