.
Sum
collected
in
the
bidding
donated
to
Ramana
Maharishi
School
in
JP
Nagar,
Bengaluru.
Taking
inspiration
from
the
IPL
bidding,
Balcony
Baadshah
Avinash
placed
the
three
precious
Mirchi
mugs
before
Mirchi
listeners
for
bidding
on
his
show
Bitti
Ticket.
The
mugs
personally
autographed
by
the
reigning
Sandalwood
stars
Power
Star
Puneet
Rajkumar,
Super
Star
Uppi
and
Golden
Star
Ganesh.
The
bidding
started
with
Rs.20/-
and
went
upto
2500/-.
A
total
of
Rs.
5500
were
collected
during
the
auction.
The
highest
bidder
was
Laxman
-
an
ardent
fan
of
Upendra
who
bid
Rs.
2500/-
for
the
star€™s
autographed
mug.
Following
that
was
the
autographed
mug
of
Ganesh
which
went
upto
Rs.
2025/-
by
Lakshmi.
Puneeth
Rajkumar's
mug
was
bid
for
Rs.
1051
by
Dr.
Nathan.
A
cheque
of
Rs.
6,500/-
was
presented
to
Ramana
Maharishi
Blind
School
out
of
which
Rs.
5,500/-
was
collected
during
the
auction
and
another
thousand
rupees
contributed
by
RJ
Avinash
himself.
Talking
about
the
experience
on
bidding
for
a
charitable
cause
RJ
Avinash
said,
“While
I
was
watching
news
the
other
day,
the
idea
just
sprang
in
my
mind.
Didn't
know
that
it
would
get
such
a
good
response
from
the
listeners.
I
was
very
happy
to
donate
the
money
to
the
blind
school."
