Two
much
awaited
Kannada
films
will
release
on
the
24th
of
December
in
an
attempt
to
woo
a
maximum
number
of
audience
this
festive
season.
According
to
reports
in
the
media,
Mylari
and
Sri
Naga
Shakthi
will
hit
theaters
this
week
and
both
films
are
expected
to
draw
in
a
huge
crowd,
who
will
assemble
in
theaters
during
the
Christmas
and
New
Year
holidays.
While
Mylari
was
scheduled
to
release
on
17th
December,
the
date
has
been
postponed
by
a
week.
Hat-trick
hero
Shivaraj
Kumar
has
said
that
he
does
not
mind
the
decision
taken
by
the
producers
of
'Mylari" to
stall
the
release
of
the
film
by
a
week.
In
fact,
he
is
rather
happy
because
this
will
mean
more
business
for
the
film
as
a
greater
number
of
audiences
will
visit
theaters
during
the
festive
season.
Shivanna
portrays
six
roles
in
the
film.
On
the
other
hand,
Sri
Naga
Shakthi,
which
is
the
production
venture
of
erstwhile
actress
Chandrika,
is
also
releasing
on
the
24th.
It
is
a
commercial
film,
but
with
a
devotional
touch.
Chandrika
says
that
she
is
looking
forward
to
her
next
release
as
a
producer
as
Sri
Naga
Shakthi
is
the
perfect
film
for
the
family
to
watch
together.
While
the
devotional
element
in
the
film
will
appeal
to
the
religious
population
in
South
India,
the
message
that
the
film
seeks
to
portray
is
also
socially
pertinent.
However,
Mylari
is
99th
film
of
Shivaraj
Kumar
and
it
has
been
in
news
right
from
the
day
one
of
its
shooting.
Whereas
Sri
Naga
Shakthi
lacks
publicity.
Now,
it
should
been
seen
whether
it
will
face
the
tough
competition
from
Mylari
or
washed
away
by
its
waves.
