Narayan-Pankaj's next film Dhandiga starts shooting

S Narayan, the multifaceted persona of the Kannada film industry, has announced yet another film with his son, actor Pankaj. His latest movie is titled Dhandiga and it features Malayalam actress Oviya Helen alongside Pankaj. The movie has already started shooting and completed the filming of two songs.

Director Narayan had recently visited Sri Lanka and Malaysia to shoot his another big budget movie Veera Parampare (VP), which stars actors Sudeep, Ambareesh and Aindrita Ray. He held the filming of a couple of songs of VP in Sri Lanka and Malaysia. After finishing the songs of this film, the director went ahead to shoot the two songs of Pankaj"s film Dhandiga.

Actor Panjkaj debuted in Sandalwood with his father"s film Veeru in 2006. The film did not do well, but Pankaj came into limelight with his poised performance that attracted the attention of many. As a hero, Pankaj"s first film was Chaitrada Chandrama, which starred Amoolya in the female lead. His second film Cheluvina Chilipili with Rupika as the lead heroine could not do well at the Box Office.

However, Pankaj is one of the twin sons of S Narayan. Pankaj is yet to prove his talent as a hero in Kannada movies and this new movie Dhandiga may bring that good moment for him!
