Naveen completes shooting of Nayaka

Bangalore boy Naveen started his acting career with the Tamil film Kadhale En Kadhale, which was nominated for the Tamil Nadu State Film Awards in 2006. Now the actor is making his debut in Kannada through the movie Nayaka, which has been directed by Kadhale En Kadhale fame PC Shekhar. Actress Ragini Dwivedi is acting alongside Naveen in the film.

Actor Naveen and director PC Shekhar are childhood friends and they started off doing short films together. Without any formal muhurtha, they started the shooting of their first combo movie Nayaka. They have already completed the shooting of the film. They had planned not to get publicity before the completion. That"s why it does not have much publicity, says the director.

The film Nayaka is all about love before and after marriage. Actress Ragini Dwivedi has much bigger scope in the movie. This film has a good opportunity for her to showcase her acting skills. Meanwhile, hero Naveen, who is all set to rock the screens in his own city, is now all excited to know how the audience will receive him. However, the movie is expected to release in May.

The movie Nayaka has been produced by P Ramesh Kumar and J Pradeep Kumar. Naan Kadavul Rajendra, Rajendranath and Sivaji are in prominent roles. Murali Krish is the cameraman. Pravin Dath Stephen has composed the music and Arjun has done the re-recording for the film in 53 days.
