Pooja Gandhi set to create awareness on AIDS

The latest buzz about actress Pooja Gandhi is that she is all set to promote awareness on AIDS. According to the Kannada movie industry sources, the Karnataka AIDS Control Board (KACB) has chosen the Mungaru Mare star as its brand ambassador. The board has roped in Pooja to create awareness on both HIV and AIDS.

Pooja"s voice would be used in the awareness promos. This way, she would explain the safety measures and other facts on HIV and AIDS exclusively on Airtel and Reliance mobile phones. The voice tells the user to go and check the AIDS infection in the nearest health centre in case the user has not. It also directs a person to protect him or her from AIDS.

There are other eminent personalities, who are part of this campaign as well. Collectively, the Karnataka AIDS Control Board seems to decimate and obliterate the evil that is AIDS from the state. The others included in the awareness promo are Ramya, superstar Upendra, cricketers of the likes of Anil Kumble and Rahul Dravid and others.
