Pooja Gandhi's reality show to find her hero

After experimenting a lot with various offbeat subjects and characters in 2009, actress Pooja Gandhi is now all set to go commercial in 2010. She has made a resolution to be a choosy. The actress has signed to do a film for Anitha Kumaraswamy"s banner. It is a romantic comedy and along with the director of the film, she is holding a reality show to find her co-star.

Pooja Gandhi says that it is a unique reality show, in which she and the director will search for a hero. They will look for the qualities like a good personality, spontaneity, dancing and acting skills, and the ability to establish good chemistry with his co-stars in the contestants.

Participants will have a free entry on the show with an age limit. A team will tour six city across Karnataka and shortlist 12 finalists. All of them will be groomed by the celebrity guests and other specialists from the film industry. The reality show will have 26 episodes and she will also perform with some participants in a few episodes.

“They wanted a fresh face and everyone thought TV would be the best way to find one. I"m excited about the opportunity to meet a lot of fans through this reality show. We"ve heard about heroines auditioning for films, but this will be the first time a hero will be searched for and picked on a show," the Bangalore Times quotes Pooja as saying.
