Poplar
South
Indian
producer
Gautham
Vasudev
Menon"s
movie
Vinnaithaandi
Varuvaaya
(VTV),
has
recently
completed
100
days.
Now,
he
is
planning
to
remake
the
movie
in
Kannada
and
he
is
considering
roping
in
actor
Diganth
and
golden
girl
Ramya
a.k.a.
Divya
Spandana
for
the
lead
roles
in
it.
Gautham
wanted
to
direct
the
remake
of
Vinnaithaandi
Varuvaaya
in
Kannada,
but
he
is
currently
busy
with
another
movie,
which
stars
Sameera
Reddy
in
lead,
and
he
does
not
have
time
for
the
film.
Although
he
is
looking
at
roping
in
someone
from
Sandalwood,
he
does
not
want
to
comment
on
the
issue.
Silambarasan
a.k.a
Simbu
and
actress
Trisha
have
played
the
lead
roles
in
VTV.
Now,
Gautham
thinks
that
Sandalwood
stars
Diganth
and
Ramya
would
make
an
ideal
pair
for
its
remake
in
Kannada.
He
has
lot
of
appreciation
for
both
the
stars.
He
has
already
worked
with
Ramya
in
Varanam
Aayiram
and
he
knows
that
she
is
a
talented
actress.
He
has
seen
a
few
of
Diganth"s
pictures
and
some
songs
and
he
is
very
confident
of
him
too.
The
producer,
who
is
getting
offers
from
different
languages
to
remake
VTV,
is
all
excite
to
remake
it
in
Kannada.
According
to
him,
nothing
will
be
altered
in
the
original
storyline
and
it
will
remain
the
same
in
Kannada
too.
However,
Gautham
is
planning
to
launch
the
project
in
August.
