Kannada
actress
Ramya
has
reportedly
walked
out
of
the
movie
Johny
Mera
Naam,
which
is
being
directed
Preetham
Gubbi.
Sources
claim
that
the
Golden
girl
had
earlier
agreed
to
star
alongside
Duniya
Vijay
in
the
film,
but
she
decided
to
stay
away
from
the
project
over
remuneration
issue.
It
is
reported
that
Ramya
had
serious
differences
with
the
producers
of
Johny
Mera
Naam
over
the
issue
of
remuneration.
Ramya
is
said
to
have
demanded
Rs.
22
lacs
besides
separate
payment
for
her
assistants.
But
the
film
bosses
were
ready
to
give
her
a
package
of
Rs.
20
lakh
for
the
film.
Now,
the
film
bosses
are
struggling
to
find
another
suitable
heroine
for
Johny
Mera
Naam.
They
have
reportedly
contacted
actress
Aindrita
Ray
for
the
female
lead
in
the
film.
But
she
is
said
to
be
a
front
runner
for
Vijay's
another
film
Jarasandha,
directed
by
Shashank.
However,
it
should
be
recalled
here
that
this
is
not
the
first
time
that
Ramya
is
opting
out
of
a
film
over
payment
issue.
She
had
quoted
for
Rs.
35
lakhs
for
Prakash
Raj's
dream
project
Naanu
Nanna
Kanasu,
but
she
came
out
of
the
movie,
when
the
producers
offered
her
only
Rs.
16
lakhs.
