Director Ratnaja ties knot with Priyadarshini

Kannada film director Ratnaja, who was recently hitting the headlines for a controversial kissing photo with actress Amoolya, has now cleared the air by tying the knot with Priyadarshini, who is the daughter of his elder sister. His newly married wife is a software engineer by profession.

The marriage was solomnised secretly without much fanfare at Himad Gopalaswamy Hill near Gundulpet on August 27. The media was not allowed to cover the wedlock event of the director, who had worked on the Kannada movie like Premism, Honganasu and Nenpirali.

However, the Ratnaja could not avoid controversy and media in this private event too. A private channel"s staffs tried to enter the venue to cover the wedding but their cameras were snatched and the crew was beaten by the director"s friends. Later, this issue was solved in the police station.

This marriage has however stopped the rumours that the director would wed actress Amoolya with whom he allegedly had a kissing photo that was circulated all over. The controversial photo made a big news in the month of June.

Amoolya was the lead heroine of the director"s last release Premism. While shooting for this movie, this particular controversial photo was clicked, which was denied by both the parties. Amoolya was also present at the wedding along with the lead hero of the movie Prem Kumar as well as the music director Hamsalekha.
