Shivaraj Kumar to play James Bond in Operation Golden Gang

Late veteran actor Dr. Rajkumar had played James Bond in director Dorai Bhagawan's movie Operation Diamond Rocket around 32 years ago. After this movie, the director had announced another Bond movie, which was titled Operation Golden Gang, but the movie did not take off due to some reason. Now Dr. Raj's son Hat-trick hero Shivaraj Kumar is play Bond in the movie.

The film Operation Golden Gang is produced by Basava Reddy. KM Veeresh, who is the executive producer of the film, announced the movie on the 49th birthday of Shivaraj Kumar. Talking about the movie, he said that Dorai Bhagawan himself had given them the story and the title. Currently, they are planning to go through the script and give it a contemporary touch. They are also in search of a suitable director for it.

In order to give a stylised look to the movie Operation Golden Gang, they are considering to bring in some Hollywood techniques into the film. Firstly, it will be shot in Bangkok, Pattaya and Hong Kong. Secondly, it will have international stunt directors to bring the Hollywood standards in action scenes. Nikki Das, who entered Kannada with Mandahasa, will play the bikini Bond girl in the film.

However, the movie bosses have already got green signal from the Rajkumar family. But Shivanna has now busy with a handful of projects. He has already completed the shooting of the movies Mylari and Cheluveye Ninna Nodalu and waiting for the release of the film. His another much-hyped movie Jogayya, which is his 100th movie, was launched its shooting on his birthday on July 12. He is expected to start shooting for Operation Golden Gang early next year after completing the movie Jogayya.
