Upendra offers to adopt six-year-old girl

Kannada actor Upendra, who is presently busy with the shooting of his upcoming movie Super (hand symbol), has made his first appearance on TV reality show. Yes the real star was the guest on the show 'Superstar of Karnataka', on which his wife Priyanka is a judge. Seeing the humble backgrounds of the participants, Uppi even donated Rs 25,000 to each of them.

According to Priyanka, Upendra was expected to appear on the reality show, but he could not make it to the show because he was busy with his upcoming movie Super. Finally, he got a little time out of his busy schedule and appeared on the finale show. Talking to the Bangalore Times, the actress said, "The concept of underdogs trying to make it big is what got him on the show."

The Sandalwood actor, who has had a tough upbringing, turned emotional and moved to tears on the show. Meanwhile, he announced to give Rs 25,000 to each of the contestants. Impressed by the performance of six-year-old contestant Kushi, Uppi even offered to adopt her.
