Actor Darshan's bail plea rejected by ACMM court

The bail plea of Kannada actor Darshan, who was arrested under the charges of domestic violence on last Friday, has been rejected by the 1st ACMM court in Bangalore. Justice Venkatesh, who heard the case of Darshan today afternoon (13th September) rejected his application for bail for allegedly beating his wife Vijayalakshmi Darshan.

Darshan's wife Vijayalakshmi had earlier filed a case against him stating that the Challenging star alleged assaulted and threatened to kill her with a revolver. But she decided to withdraw her complaint after many Kannada actors convinced her to take it back. So, she had requested to issue bail for her husband.

On Tuesday afternoon, Vijayalakshmi's lawyer Krishnegowda argued that Darshan did not try to murder her. Instead the Sandalwood star has just tried to hurt her. So, the lawyer requested the first class additional chief magistrate court to change the case from IPC section 307 to IPC section 324 and issue him bail. But Justice Venkatesh rejected her bail plea.

However, Darshan has a huge fan following and the sudden rejection of bail for the actor has shocked his fans and several Kannada stars. Now, the Kranthiveera Sangolli Rayanna star has been left with two option – either he can appeal to the session court questioning ACMM's justice or he can appeal to the high court.
