Amitabh Bachchan returning to Kannada films with Mareyalaare?

Indian superstar Amitabh Bachchan is reportedly set to make his comeback to Kannada film industry. The latest buzz in Gandhinagar is that the senior Bollywood actor will appear in S Narayan's son Pankaj's upcoming Kannada movie Mareyalaare, which is being directed by ace Tamil cameraman Selvam.

Mareyalaare is said to be a romantic comedy film, which is produced by Police Story 3 fame Shivananda Madashetty. Actor Pankaj and actress Saranya Mohan are playing the lead roles in the movie. It is reported that Amitabh Bachchan will play an important role in this Kannada movie.

Sources even claim that producer Shivananda Madashetty is all excited to work with Amitabh Bachchan. He is said to be feeling that since Big B is starring in the film Mareyalaare, it would get recognition in National level. If this is true, then this film will be the second movie of Amitabhji.

However, Amitabh Bachchan debuted in Kannada through director Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar's movie Amrutha Dhaare. The B-town star has made a guest appearance in the Sandalwood film, which featured actress Ramya and Dhyaan a.k.a. Samir Dattani in the leads. The movie had done good business at the Box Office.
