Darshan's bail plea adjourned to Oct 6 by High Court

Kannada actor Darshan's chances of getting bail have once again been pushed ahead today after the Karnataka High Court adjourned his bail application to October 6. Justice BV Pinto has kept it pending and has directed the Special Public Prosecutor Chandramouli to file objection against the Sandalwood star's bail plea in next 14 days.

Darshan was discharged from Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Chest Diseases, where he was undergoing treatment for asthma and jaundice since September 10 and he was taken to Parapanna Agrahara jail yesterday. His remand in judicial custody was extended till October 4 by the First Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court.

However, Darshan was arrested for allegedly assaulting and threatening his wife Vijayalakshmi on September 9. Despite his wife withdrawing her complaint, his bail plea was rejected by the First Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court and Sessions court. Today, he moved High Court seeking bail.
