Darshan fans celebrate his release on bail

It turned out to be a biggest celebration for Challenging star Darshan fans, who were eagerly waiting for a month for their hero to get his bail granted. Many had offered prayers to different gods for their hero. The moment he got released on bail, thousands of fans flocked his house in Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Bangalore.

Kannada actor Darshan, who was arrested under the charges of assaulting his wife Vijayalakshmi, was released on bail at 6.30 pm on Friday, 7th October. By this time, the news of his release had spread across the city and thousands of desperate fans had gather at the Parappana Agrahara Jail.

The Sandalwood star returned his home in an SUV and his fans chased him in autos and two-wheelers creating a ruckus on the roads. On his way to home, Darshan visited Rajarajeshwari temple at around 7.30 and offered pooja to the goddess. As he reached his house, they celebrated the moment by bursting crackers and distributing sweets.

It was sweet comeback for Darshan, who was welcomed with the traditional aarthi. Later, he came out on balcony with his wife and close friends and cut the cake and shared it with them. It was really stunning moment for Darshan himself as he did not know that he had such a huge devoted fan following.

But it was a tough time for the police, who were struggling to control the adoring mob gathered outside the prison. Within minutes, the mob went berserk and started pelting stones at the police, which prompted them to resort to a lathicharge.
