In
recent
months,
a
trend
is
created
in
Kannada
film
industry.
Movies
of
all
big
stars
are
getting
huge
response
from
the
distributors.
It
started
with
Puneet
Rajkumar's
movie
Jackie
and
extended
to
Sudeep's
Veera
Parampare,
Upendra's
Super,
Shivaraj
Kumar's
Mylari,
Vijay's
Kanteerava,
and
Sudeep's
Kempe
Gowda.
The
latest
movie
to
get
the
big
response
from
distributors
is
Challenging
star
Darshan's
film
Prince.
Darshan's
latest
movie
Prince,
which
was
delayed
for
long
time
due
to
some
reason,
is
releasing
on
31st
of
March.
The
distribution
rights
of
all
the
areas
for
the
film
have
already
been
sold
out
for
a
huge
price.
Producer
Sandesh
Nagaraj,
who
had
big
loss
from
the
films
Veerabahu
and
Huduga
Hudugi,
is
now
all
happy
because
Prince
has
returned
him
its
expense
with
a
little
amount
of
profit
even
before
its
release.
According
to
sources,
there
was
tough
competition
among
the
distributors
to
by
the
rights
of
different
areas,
which
have
been
sold
out
like
hot
cake.
Gandhi
Nagar
pandits
opine
that
the
reasons
behind
this
competition
are
most
of
the
final
examinations
are
getting
over
and
Holiday
season
is
starting.
Meanwhile,
the
World
Cup
2011
matches
are
getting
concluded
on
2nd
April.
Sources
claim
that
the
distribution
rights
of
movie
Prince
for
the
area
Mysore,
Mandya,
Kodagu,
Chamarajanagar
and
Hassan
has
been
sold
for
Rs.
one
crore,
while
the
Northern
Karnataka
area
has
fetched
Rs.
90
lacs.
Other
distribution
areas
have
also
earned
a
big
prices
for
Sandesh
Nagaraj.
The
movie
has
reportedly
earned
more
than
Rs.
six
crores
from
all
the
rights
including
satellite
rights.
However,
Prince
is
an
action-cum-romantic
movie.
Darshan
is
playing
the
hero,
while
actresses
Nikitha
Thukral
and
Jennifer
Kotwal
appear
as
his
love
interests.
Popular
musician
V
Harikrishna
has
composed
music
for
the
film.
The
movie
has
brought
a
smile
on
its
producer's
face.
Now,
it
should
be
seen
whether
it
will
also
make
the
distributors
happy
or
not.
