On Sunday evening, Kannada film producers (KFP) gathered at KFCC to discuss the issue of Kannada Cine Artistes Association's demand for the public apology from producer A Ganesh to Ramya. Meanwhile, they also looked into the complaints filed by another actress Pooja Gandhi. They condemned her disrespect for the producers.
The KFP opined that Pooja Gandhi is a non-Kannada girl and all of her latest movies like Minugu, Huchchi, Naa Rani Nee Maharani and Aaptha have been disasters at the Box Office. Even then, she has been getting huge amount of remuneration from the producers. She is getting several offers these days because of new producers, who do not have actual idea about film market.
Now, the producers are thinking seriously about the complaints filed by Pooja Gandhi. Their charges against the actress are that despite facing huge losses from her films, she has been paid a handsome amount of remuneration and on many occasions she has shown her way ward and undisciplined behaviour. They claim that being an outsider, she should have understood her position and considered the amount of co-operation she is getting from them.
However, Pooja Gandhi entered Kannada films through Golden star Ganesh's movie Mungaru Male, which got her several offers in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu. But the actress accepted all the offer that came her way. As a result of this, most of her movies were failed to do well at the Box Office. Without considering her success and failure, she has now lodged complaints against a few producers, which has irked Kannada Film Producers Association. Now, it should be waited and watched what action will be taken against the actress by the producers. Stay locked to Oneindia for more updates on the issue.
