Golden
girl
Ramya,
who
had
disappeared
from
the
headlines
for
long
time,
is
back
in
news,
but
with
a
controversy
gaian.
The
Kannada
actress
was
busy
shopping,
instead
of
attending
the
audio
release
function
of
her
latest
movie
Dhandam
Dhashagunam.
So
producer
A
Ganesh
has
condemned
her
attitude
on
the
occasion.
The
music
launch
of
Dhandam
Dhashagunam
was
held
at
Atria
Hotel
in
Bangalore
yesterday
evening
(14th
March).
Director
K
Madesha,
actor
Chiranjeevi
Sarja
and
few
other
cast
members
were
present
on
the
occasion.
But
Ramya,
who
was
expected
to
be
the
main
attraction
of
the
event,
could
not
make
it
to
the
occasion.
Upset
Ganesh
had
another
shock
waiting
for
him
when
he
contacted
her
over
cell
phone.
Addressing
the
event,
the
producer
hurled
his
anger
against
the
actress.
He
said,
"I
called
up
Ramya
thinking
that
she
must
be
stuck
in
traffic
jam,
but
I
was
shocked
to
hear
that
she
was
busy
buying
furnitures."
Ganesh
seemed
to
very
disappointed
with
Ramya's
response.
He
condemned
her
for
not
attending
this
promotional
event.
He
added,
"I
have
paid
Rs.
27
lakhs
to
Ramya
for
the
movie
Dhandam
Dhashagunam.
But
she
does
not
have
least
courtesy
to
attend
its
promotional
activities."
However,
Basanth
Kumar
Patil,
the
President
of
Karnataka
Film
Chamber
of
Commerce
(KFCC),
was
present
on
the
occasion.
Talking
about
the
issue,
he
said,
"Hero,
heroine,
director
and
other
members
of
a
film
should
attend
the
promotional
activities.
I
hope
to
pass
rule
at
the
KFCC
soon."
