Ramesh Aravind, Daisy Bopanna shooting Maaya in Mysore

Comedian-turned-director Ramesh Aravind and actress Daisy Bopanna are shooting for debutant A Jagadish's directorial venture Maaya. The movie was launched at a function held at Kanteerava Studios in Bangalore on 7th December, 2010. According to sources, the shooting of the film is now making a brisk progress at Ashok Building in Mysore.

Maaya is all about a horror reality show going wrong and Ramesh Aravind is playing the director of the show. Like Nagavalli in Apthamithra and Aaptharakshaka, a character named Maaya is being introduced in the film, which will have both humour and horror. According to director Jagadish, graphics and technical work will be a major highlight of the film.

However, the movie Maaya is being produced by director Jagadish's brother Ganesh. Rajendra Karanth has written story and dialogues for it. Umesh is handling the camera, while.Rajesh Ramanath is composing music for it. This thriller film features Ramya Barna, Priyanka, Parah Khan, Ravishankar Raju Thalikote, Prathpa and Hari Rai in other cast.
