Golden
girl
Ramya,
who
made
it
to
the
headlines
by
skipping
the
audio
release
function
of
Dhandam
Dhashagunam
held
at
Hotel
Atria
in
Bangalore
on
Monday,
is
now
facing
the
wrath
of
Karnataka
Film
Chamber
of
Commerce
(KFCC).
The
Kannada
actress
has
reportedly
been
given
48
hours
deadline
by
the
KFCC
to
give
explanation
on
why
she
remained
absent
on
the
occasion.
The
producer
of
Dhandam
Dhashagunam,
A
Ganesh
had
cleared
Ramya's
due
of
Rs.
27
lakhs
remuneration
just
a
few
hours
before
the
music
launch
event.
He
was
very
upset
when
she
did
not
show
up
even
after
the
function
started.
He
had
another
big
disappoint
was
waiting
for
him
when
he
called
her
up
to
know
about
her
arrival.
She
replied
him
that
she
was
busy
buying
furniture
for
her
new
house.
So
the
producer
brought
the
senseless
behaviour
of
Ramya
to
the
notice
of
the
KFCC
President,
Basanth
Kumar
Patil.
In
a
bid
to
bring
her
to
the
event,
Patil
also
called
her
up,
but
his
attempts
also
went
in
vein.
Finally,
disgusted
Ganesh,
who
is
also
holding
key
posts
in
Kannada
Film
Producer
Association
as
well
as
KFCC,
lodged
a
formal
complaint
against
the
Golden
girl
of
Sandalwood
at
the
Producer
Association.
However,
the
Film
Producer
Association
organised
a
meeting
at
the
KFCC.
In
hour-long
meeting,
Kannada
producers
took
a
decision
that
Ramya
should
give
an
explanation
about
her
absence
at
the
audio
release
in
a
two
days
deadline.
The
association
will
hold
another
meeting
to
take
strict
action
against
her,
if
she
does
not
react
within
given
time.
Let
us
wait
to
hear
what
explanation
the
actress
will
give
and
what
action
the
KFCC
will
take
against
her
if
she
fails
to
communicate
the
Association.
