In an interview with Oneindia in 2010, Ramya had said, "I've signed a Kannada project called Sidlingu, which is directed by Vijay Prasad. Yogish is playing the hero alongside me. Sidlingu is a comedy-cum-emotional drama, which is totally opposite of JMM. The story of the movie revolves around a boy named Sidlingu. I'm playing an unattractive lady teacher in it. Since childhood, I wanted to become a teacher. Though not in real life, my dream is coming true through this movie. I'm very happy."
Producer TP Siddaraju of Sidlingu, who is also the father of Yogi, had reportedly put the production of the movie on hold and waiting for Ramya's call sheet. But now, Ramya is said to have expressed her inconvenience to give her call sheet. Her sudden decision to opt out from the project has disappointed Loose Mada, who is a hard core fan of Ramya. Out of dejection, Yogish is reportedly not singing the song 'Boy friend Bandha Antha Heeg Mada Beda...' for the movie.
However, the film Sidlingu started shooting in the last week of February. Director Vijay Prasad, who has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues for this film, is said to have even completed the first schedule of shooting in Maddur. After getting Ramya's call sheet, he had planned to start the second schedule in Mandya, KR Pet and Shivana Samudra. The film will have Gnana Murthy's camerawork, Anoop Seelin's music and Different Danny's stunts. Rangayana Raghu, Sharan, KP Sridhar, Vatsala Mohan, HMB Vijay are also in the cast.
Kannada actress Ramya always tries to stay in limelight with one or the other reason. Recently, she made a big headline by announcing her political venture on her Twitter account. The latest news about the Golden girl of Sandalwood is that she has reportedly walked out of the movie Sidlingu, which features Loose Mada a.k.a. Yogish. She is said to have a date issue, which has forced her to walk out of the film.
