Shivanna's Silver Jubilee to be grand gala event

A grand set is being erected at Gayathri Vihar, Palace Grounds in Bangalore for the Silver Jubilee function of Shivaraj Kumar's acting career. After Amrutha Mahotsava of Kannada film, whole industry is coming together to celebrate the 25-years successful acting career of the Hat-trick hero on this Mahashivratri day. Sandalwood has planned to hold a three hours rocking entertaiment programme on the occasion on March 02.

All the Kannada artists, technicians, directors, producers, cinema workers and Shivanna fans have planned to felicitate the century hero on this grand gala event. Meanwhile, Shivaraj Kumar has also planned to felicitate Crazy star V Ravichandran, Navarasa Nayaka Jaggesh and comedian-cum-director Ramesh Aravind, who have also completed 25 years of acting career in Kannada films.

The event will witness mind-blowing masti show, which is being choreographed by Imran Sardaria, Ramu, Ganesh, Kalai and Dhanu. There will be 40 plus programs for three hours and most of them will be dance programmes based on hit songs of Shivanna's movies from Anand to Mylari. Young actors like Chiranjeevi Sarja, Raagini, Radhika Pandit, Ajay Rao and many others will be shaking their legs for these songs. Meanwhile, Shivanna will dance with his heroines like Sudharani, Anu Prabhakar, Malashri and many others.

Popular Kannada news channel TV9 has bought the rights of broadcasting the programme on TV. There are a few companies like MP and others, who are the sponsor of the glitzy event. Addressing the press conference at Chetan International Hotel on Saturday, he said that he would be organising the function on his own and whatever he earns from the event would go to the Kannada Cinema Artists Association and Kannada Cinema Workers Federation.

However, this is going to be starry and glitzy show and no doubt, it will be the first full fun and masti event after Amrutha Mahotsava of Kannada film. Senior actor Ambareesh and producer Smt Parvathamma Rajakumar will be the chief guests on the occasion. And Prof Baraguru Ramachandrappa will give the inaugural speech.

Let's hope the event will become grand and successful event in Kannada film industry.
