Shivaraj Kumar honoured with 'silver sword'

Kannada actor Shivaraj Kumar has completed 25 years in the film industry. With the movie Jogayya, he has also completed 100 movies in his acting career. The Century hero was felicitated by the Akila Karnataka Shivaraj Kumar Sena Samithi for his achievement on Monday night. He was given a 'silver sword' by the Samithi on the occasion.

Addressing the felicitation function held at Chowdaiah Memorial Hall, Shivaraj Kumar said that he was overwhelmed by his fans kind support and encouragement throught his career and he would not forget it till his last breath. The Kannada actor added that the fans felicitation was the biggest of all the honours.

Shivanna's brothers Puneet and Raghavendra Rajkumar were also present on the felicitation function. Puneet praised his brother's dedication, sincerity and wonderful screen presence. Meanwhile, Raghavendra remembered his late father Dr. Rajkumar and said that he should have been alive to see that day.

However, Shivaraj Kumar is eagerly waiting to see the release of his much-anticipated 100th film Jogayya, which is slated to hit the screens on August 12. Currently, the Hat-trick hero is working on Raghava Loki's Lakshmi and Om Prakash Rao's Shiva. And many other films are in line for him to shoot.
