The Mungaru Male director had prepared a script for Puneet Rajkumar in 2009. The film was titled Lagori, which had created lot of curiosity among the audience. It was to be produced by Rockline Venkatesh. The movie was to be made with whopping amount of Rs.10 crores. But the director scrapped the big-budget movie after the producer denied to invest that much of amount on it.
Yogaraj Bhat-produced movie Pancharangi has become successful at the Box Office and this has encouraged him to produce his next film with Puneet. According to sources, He is teaming up with distributor-turned-producer Jayanna to produce the movie Paramathma. According to him, this joint venture will go on the floors in February and will be released in July or August of 2011.
Yogaraj has already tried out different stories and themes in his previous films like Mani, Mungaru Male, Gaalipata, Manassare and Pancharangi. Now, the director-cum-producer's next movie Paramathma is said to be made on the love for land and the significance of mannu (Sand). Love story will be used as backdrop of the film. He is now writing the story and screenplay.
However, the Pancharangi director had worked with No 1 musician V Harikrishna in the movie Gaalipata and is now teaming up with him again for the movie Paramathma. As usual, Jayanth Kaikini will pen the lyrics for the film with Yogaraj. Santosh Rai Pathaje is the cameraman for it. He is now looking for suitable heroine for Puneet in it.
Yogaraj Bhat had spoken about directing Powerstar Puneet Rajkumar in his next Kannada film in the Oneindia interview during the release of Pancharangi. Now, the latest buzz about it is that their combo movie has been titled Paramathma. Currently, Yagaraj is busy with the scripting works and the shooting of the film will start after the completion of Puneet's upcoming movie Hudugru.
