Ajay turned too expensive for Dil Ka Raja

After walking out of Uday Prakash's Auto Raja, Ajay Rao has opted out of yet another film. Well, the 32-year-old has turned down the offer to star in Dil Ka Raja, which fell into the laps of Prajwal Devaraj, for remuneration issues.

Rumour mills are rife that Ajay Rao turned too expensive for the makers of Dil Ka Raja. If reports are to be believed, he demanded Rs. 89 lakhs, which made director Somanath Patil to replace him with Prajwal Devaraj.

However, speaking to a leading daily, Ajay Rao has clarified that he did not demand Rs. 89 lakhs nor he opted out of the film for remuneration issues. He says that as the script was not exciting, he turned down the offer.

Ajay Rao further adds that he is not adamant on the paycheque but what matters him the most is the script. There are times when the actor has acted in movies without even charging a single penny, claims the super cool actor. On the other end, Prajwal Devraj has said that he is not aware of the film being offered to Ajay and even if it is true, it does no matter him, as it common in the industry.
