Ambareesh throws a thanksgiving party

The last few weeks have been one of the most spirited and happening times of the recent years in Kannada film industry. Thanks to Ambi Sambrama, an event organised by Kannada film industry to celebrate Ambareesh's birthday that united the Sandalwood again. The celebration came to an end yesterday (June 10) with the Rebel Star dropping the curtains by throwing a thanksgiving party.

Ambareesh had organised a luncheon, which was graced by who's who of Kannada film industry. Crazy Star Ravichandran, Dwarkeesh, Doddana, Hatrick Hero Shivaraj Kumar, Sudeep, Darshan, Raghavendra Rajkumar, Srinagar Kitty, Yash, Kumar Govind, Sudha Rani, Sanjjana, Jayamala, Jayanthi, Tara, Vijayalakshmi Singh, director SV Rajendra Singh Babu and others were spotted at the event.

On the occasion, Ambareesh said, "The industry has dedicatedly celebrated my birthday for couple of weeks. So, this is my turn to give it back to my friends and media. With this event, all the celebration will be coming to an end." The Rebel Star also thanked S Narayan and Rockline Venkatesh, who took in charge of the thanksgiving party.

It may be recalled that Ambareesh turned 60 on May 29 and the birthday celebration was attended by bigwigs of Indian film industries including superstar Rajinikanth, Mega Star Chiranjeevi, Mohan Babu, Balakrishna and Shatrughan Sinha.
