Despite getting mixed response from the audience as well as
critics, Anna Bond has done an earth-shattering business
in the first week. The film, which was released on May 1, has
reportedly collected Rs 12 crore plus in the opening week.
The buzz in the industry is that Anna Bond, which was
released in 145 plus theatres, got a massive opening by collecting
Rs 3 crore plus on the release day. Though there were not good
word-of-mouth for the film, it managed to do roaring business in
the first week.
The single screens and multiplex ran into packed house till the
last weekend, says a source. The total collection of Anna
Bond has already crossed Rs 12 crore. The film starring
Puneet Rajkumar, Priyamani and Nidhi
Subbaiah was made with the budget of Rs 5 crore.
