I'm not dating BS Yeddyurappa's son: Haripriya

Following the CBI raid on former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa's and his kin residences on Wednesday (May 16), the television media speculated that actress Haripriya's house also came under the scanner. It was said that she was dating the son of tainted minister, BS Vijayayendra. However, she has rubbished the rumours.

The CBI has not conducted the raid on my house. In fact, my house is not located in Sadashivnagar as reported by media and I stay in Yeshwanthpur. I am shocked to see such reports emerging out from nowhere. I don't even know that BS Yeddyurappa had two sons and I have not met Vijayayendra, the person who I am being linked up, face to face.”

“All these are planted in media to tarnish my image. It was all started during the making of Manasugala Maatu Madhura and Kallara Santhe when some tabloids wrongly reported about the affair. Now that my new film Kiladi Kitty is releasing, these things are emerging again,”

She concludes, “I have bought my house and car from my hard-earned money. Had I been getting those for free, I would not have worked in films. I believe some people are fearing because I am slowly climbing the ladder of success. I am acting in four South Indian languages and I am doing good. I know who is doing all these things and will reveal those names when the time comes.”

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) conducted raids at eight premises belonging to former Chief Minister of Karnataka, BS Yeddyurappa, his sons BY Raghavendra and BY Vijayendra and son-in-law RN Sohan Kumar on Wednesday in connection with the illegal mining scam.
