Sharan,
the
man
who
stood
by
heroes
as
their
sidekick
all
through
his
career,
is
turning
hero.
He
could
not
have
got
a
better
opportunity
than
making
his
debut
as
the
hero
in
his
100th
film
Rambo.
Yes,
the
comedian,
who
broke
our
funny
bones
through
his
funny
one-liners,
has
reached
the
century-mark
without
giving
a
clue.
The
excited
actor
spoke
to
Prakash
Upadhyaya
from
Oneindia
about
his
Rambo.
Here
are
the
excerpts
from
the
interview:
What
is
Rambo
all
about?
Rambo
is
a
comedy-thriller.
It
is
a
rarely
attempted
genre
in
our
industry.
We
have
tried
to
blend
these
two
genres
to
make
this
an
entertaining
flick.
Audience
can
expect
comedy,
comedy
and
only
comedy
in
Rambo.
Having
said
that
I
don't
claim
that
I
have
done
something
different,
but
I
can
only
say
that
it
is
an
all
out
fun
movie.
How
did
the
idea
of
Rambo
take
birth?
This
happened
accidentally.
My
friend's
friend,
who
had
come
to
narrate
a
different
script
to
another
hero,
opened
up
on
this
after
the
particular
actor
came
late.
In
order
to
pass
the
time,
the
writer
told
this
concept
and
I
was
impressed
by
the
storyline,
which
made
me
produce
the
movie.
Did
the
success
of
Komal
Kumar's
Govindaya
Namaha
inspire
you
for
such
an
attempt?
It
is
a
coincident,
but
yes,
the
confidence
level
in
me
increased
looking
at
the
success
of
Govindaya
Namaha.
How
was
it
working
with
Madhuri?
It
was
nice
since
it
is
my
first
film
as
a
hero.
I
should
thank
her
for
accepting
the
role.
It
is
a
risky
option
for
any
actress
to
play
as
heroine
with
a
comedian,
who
is
turning
hero
for
the
first
time
in
this
movie.
It
is
also
because
Sharan
is
not
a
brand
yet.
Could
you
please
throw
light
on
other
characters?
There
are
many
predominant
characters
in
the
movie,
which
need
nothing
but
good
performers.
I
am
thankful
for
all
the
artists
who
acted
in
this
film.
I
am
very
lucky
to
have
got
such
a
wonderful
actors
in
the
movie.
Umashri
madam
has
done
the
role
of
my
mother,
Table
Naani
will
be
seen
as
my
friend
and
he
will
be
with
me
throughout
the
movie.
Rangayana
Raghu,
Deepika
and
Sadhu
Kokila
are
in
important
roles.
Finally
yet
importantly,
my
sister
and
actress
Shruti
has
done
a
cameo.
Tell
us
about
director
MS
Srinath
and
your
associate
director
Tarun
Sudhir
about
whom
you
have
spoken
high
in
all
your
recent
interviews.
MS
Srinath
is
the
storywriter
of
the
movie
and
he
has
done
a
great
job.
But
as
an
associate
director,
Tarun
Sudhir
has
taken
the
entire
responsibility
on
his
shoulders.
He
has
not
only
worked
with
the
direction
department
but
also
in
every
other
department.
Rambo
is
nothing
but
Tarun,
and
Tarun
is
nothing
but
Rambo.
Finally,
can
we
expect
you
to
do
more
number
of
films
as
hero?
That
is
not
in
my
control
and
time
will
answer
your
question.
It
all
depends
on
how
people
will
receive
the
film
and
it
is
completely
in
their
hands.
I
will
keep
my
fingers
crossed;
hopefully
I
will
get
good
reports
for
our
attempt.
So
far
so
good,
movie
has
shaped
up
well.
The
success
of
'mane
tanaka
bare...' and
'jaya
jaya
jacket...'
brought
a
new
enthusiasm
in
our
team.
We
wish
people
will
like
Rambo.
