Darshan is often referred as Box Office King by Sandalwood men and it has been proved again. With his latest release Chingari, the Challenging Star has reassured that he is the most bankable star of the Kannada film industry by getting a massive response for his recent movie on the opening day.

According to sources, Chingari, which was released in more than 150 screens, has rocked at the Box Office in its first weekend. The movie has approximately garnered approximately Rs 5.40 crore in three days, which by any standard is a good collection in the opening weekend.

While the multiplexes, on an average, witnessed just above 55% occupancy in the three days, the single screens embarked on a bumper start across the state in the first weekend. Theatres like Balaji, Chandrodaya, and Tirumala, where we rarely see Kannada films, are also screening Chingari considering the huge-hype around the film.

However, Chingari is directed by A Harsha and it also features Deepika Kamaiah, Bhavana, and Srujan Lokesh in the key roles.
