A leading tabloid reports that Darshan, who was at loggerheads with S Narayan, was offered a film by the Kala Samrat post-Sarathi success. It was said that they decided let bygones be bygones by joining hands. However, the actor was not keen to act in the movie and made the filmmaker to drop his plans by demanding Rs 3 crore, which did not go well with Narayan.
It may be recalled that Darshan, before earning star status, was seen in a small role in S Narayan's Mahabharata and later in a television serial Ambika. But the situation dramatically changed after the actor earned stardom. Later, there were instances of the director sharing his displeasure against the Challenging Star at public platforms.
