Despite
getting
thumbs
down
for
the
Malayalam
version
of
Shikari,
Mammootty
seems
to
be
banking
on
his
luck
to
turnaround
the
things
in
the
Kannada
version.
The
superstar,
who
is
making
his
debut
in
Sandalwood
with
this
forthcoming
movie,
believes
that
the
language
has
been
lucky
for
him
and
he
wishes
it
works
again.
Talking
about
Shikari,
Mammootty
has
told
a
leading
daily
that
Kannada
language
did
wonders
for
him
on
earlier
occasions.
He
has
done
the
role
of
a
Kannadiga
in
the
movies
Vidheyan
and
Chattambinadu.
While
the
former
bagged
a
National
Award
for
his
role,
the
latter
became
a
superhit.
He
hopes
that
the
the
luck
works
this
time
too.
Mammootty
will
be
seen
in
the
role
of
a
software
engineer
in
Shikari.
The
movie
directed
by
Abhaya
Simha
is
produced
by
K
Manju
and
it
also
features
Poonam
Bajwa
and
Aditya.
