Producer
K
Manju
has
insisted
Munirathna
to
release
the
movie
Katari
Veera
Surasundarangi
after
his
film
Godfather
hits
the
screens.
Both
the
Kannada
movies
feature
real
star
Upendra
in
the
lead
and
releasing
them
back
to
back
would
cause
loss.
So,
Manju
has
requested
KFCC
to
intervene
to
solve
the
issue.
K
Manju
has
already
spoken
to
Muniratna
and
requested
him
to
postpone
the
release
of
Katari
Veera
Surasundarangi.
But
he
had
to
approach
KFCC
when
Muniratna
refused
to
delay
his
film.
The
producer
says,
“It
does
not
make
sense
to
release
the
same
hero’s
films
back
to
back.”
Meanwhile,
K
Manju
has
also
expressed
his
disappointment
with
Upendra
as
he
has
kept
mum
on
the
whole
issue.
“What
has
also
upset
me
is
that
Upendra
has
not
spoken
to
Munirathna
to
solve
this
issue.
He
should
have
pushed
for
Godfather’s
release
first,”
TOI
quotes
him
as
saying.
Muniratna
has
planned
to
release
Katari
Veera
Surasundarangi
on
April
27,
on
the
day
when
Puneet's
Anna
Bond
will
hit
the
screens.
Talking
about
this
clash,
Manju
says,
“I
will
not
release
my
film
with
Anna
Bond
on
April
27.
I
will
release
it
a
week
later,
on
May
3.”
