Despite
being
in
the
news
for
wrong
reasons,
Upendra's
Katari
Veera
Surasundarangi
(KVS)
is
all
set
to
have
a
massive
release.
The
buzz
is
that
Munirathna,
who
is
adamant
on
releasing
the
film
on
April
27,
has
got
140
theatres
for
the
release
of
the
first-ever
3D
Kannada
film.
According
to
sources,
Munirathna's
Katari
Veera
Surasundarangi
will
be
releasing
in
2D
and
3D
formats.
The
movie,
which
will
be
censored
on
April
24,
is
hitting
screens
in
140
theatres
and
45
plus
theatres
will
be
converted
to
3D.
Meanwhile,
K
Manju,
who
wants
to
release
his
Godfather
starring
Upendra
on
the
same
day,
will
be
having
a
meeting
headed
by
Ambareesh
along
with
Munirathna
on
April
18.
The
veteran
actor
is
intervening,
as
both
the
filmmaker
have
failed
to
find
an
amicable
solution
for
their
release
issue.
Being
labelled
as
the
first-ever
full
fledged
3D
Kannada
film,
Katari
Veera
Surasundarangi
features
Ramya,
Ambareesh
and
Muthappa
Rai
in
the
lead
roles.
It
is
being
made
with
the
budget
of
Rs
12
crore.
