Will Parthiepan give nod to work with Veena in Dirty Picture?

Tamil actor Parthiepan has been approached to play the role of an actor, similar to the role played by Naseeruddin Shah in Vidya Balan's The Dirty Picture, in the forthcoming Kannada movie Dirty Picture: Silk Sakkath Maga. However, he is yet to give a nod to act in the film directed by newcomer Trishul.

Parthiepan has told a daily that the makers of Dirty Picture: Silk Sakkath Maga have approached him and he is keen to act in the movie. The actor will decide on the film once he watches the original Vidya Balan starrer film.

He further adds that the actor is a big fan of Naseeruddin Shah and he loves stepping into the shoes of the legendary actor. Parthiepan ends on the note that he has not done a full-fledged negative role and enacting such a character in the forthcoming film will be challenging.

Dirty Picture: Silk Sakkath Maga produced by Venkatappa is based on the real life story of yesteryear sex siren Silk Smitha. Though the movie bosses have denied that it is a remake of the Vidya Balan film, there are quite a few evidences, which shows that the film is inspired by Bollywood's The Dirty Picture.
