Pooja Gandhi breaks off engagement

In what could be called as a shocking development, Pooja Gandhi has reportedly broken up with her beau Anand Gowda. The couple, who got engaged last month, has reportedly parted ways over some differences.

TV channels report that Pooja Gandhi's mother, who was not very happy with the relationship made a nasty comment against Anand Gowda. She had reportedly remarked about the weight of Anand. The boy was upset after her mom called him 'Coca Cola' bottle. It is also said that she insulted the boy several times before Anand Gowda's family decided to end the relationship.

Meanwhile, Pooja Gandhi's father will be arriving Bangalore to solve the issue. On the other end, builder and realtor Anand Gowda is planning to organise a press meet to announce the break up.

The engagement ceremony was held at Pooja Gandhi's apartment in Katriguppe, Bangalore on November 15. The couple exchanged the rings in a private function and later appeared before the media to announce the relationship.

During the engagement, Pooja Gandhi said that they were enjoying the present moment and the marriage date was not finalised.

They had also claimed that the couple would be throwing a party for their friends.

There are also reports that Pooja Gandhi's decision to quit JD(S) and join KJP was the reason behind the break up.

Anand Gowda was a supporter of HD Kumaraswamy and he was not happy with Pooja's decision to join BS Yeddurappa's party.

However, the official statement is yet to arrive from both the parties.
