Actress
Pooja
Gandhi,
the
Punjabi
kudi,
created
a
niche
for
herself
with
blockbuster
Mungaaru
Male
way
back
in
2006
in
Sandalwood.
Since
then,
she
has
travelled
a
long
way
to
be
what
she
is
today.
Even
though,
she
had
a
dream
debut
in
Kannada,
the
actress
witnessed
a
lot
of
ups
and
downs
but
managed
to
deliver
quite
a
few
hits.
It
was
proved
again
recently
with
her
Dandupalya,
where
the
actress
has
come
out
with
flying
colours.
Well,
the
actress,
whose
sister
Sanjana
Gandhi
has
already
acted
in
Kannada
films,
is
all
set
to
introduce
yet
another
member
from
her
family
to
Sandalwood.
It
is
none
other
than
her
mother
Jyothi
Gandhi.
Speaking
to
a
daily,
the
actress
has
confirmed
the
news
and
said
that
her
mother
always
had
a
secret
love
towards
acting.
Jyothi
Gandhi
was
a
theatre
artist
before
tying
the
knot.
However,
Pooja
Gandhi
felt
that
the
role
would
suit
her
mother
when
she
heard
the
script.
Hence,
the
actress
made
her
mother
agree
to
act
in
the
movie.
The
forthcoming
movie
is
titled
Subhadra
and
they
will
be
seen
as
mother-daughter
in
the
film
too.
Jyothi
Gandhi
shot
her
portions
recently.
