Pooja Gandhi feels no harm in going nude

Pooja Gandhi's bare back scene in upcoming Kannada movie Dandupalya has become a talk of the town. Not only in the Sandalwood, her bold act has drawn attention from other film industries too. However, the actress is not worried about criticism and claims that she feels no harm in going nude.

“I have done bareback scene in Dandupalya. Haven"t Rekha, Shabana Azmi, Smitha Patil and Vidya Balan done this before? Then, why people are making a big issue out of my bold scene," the Mungaaru Male actress quips. The actress further says, “I have not regret this or feel awkward about the sequence."

The actress adds that she is not happy with the double standards of a section of people, who are okay when the Bollywood actresses does nude acts and raise eyebrows when the same scenes are done by a Sandalwood girl.

The forthcoming Kannada movie is based on the real life incidents of notorious gang named Dandupalya – a name of a village situated on the Bangalore-Chennai National Highway four. They spread terror in and around Bangalore by slitting the throats of women & the aged and then robbing them.
