Prakash Raj walks out of Yogaraj Bhat’s Drama

Actor Prakash Raj was set to make his comeback to Kannada films through director Yogaraj Bhat’s upcoming movie Drama. But the popular South Indian has walked out of this much-hyped project. He has said that his mother’s ill-health has forced him to take a break from work.

Recently, Prakash Raj's mother has been admitted to a private hospital following her ill-health and he has been busy catering to her needs. In a statement to an English daily, Prakash, who was keen on playing a power-packed role in Drama, has confirmed that he has opted out of the film. “My mother is currently in the hospital. I have had to opt out of the film because of this,” the TOI quotes him as saying.

Meanwhile, Yogaraj Bhat has also confirmed the news. “We felt it would be cruel to ask him for dates when he is going through such troubled times at home,” the TOI quotes him as saying. Now, the director is in talks with actors like Sarath Kumar and Atul Kulkarni for the role. He said, “We need to see whose dates will work out for us.”
