Kannada
film
producer
V
Srinivas,
who
was
producing
the
movie
Veerappan
Attahasa,
has
been
found
dead
mysteriously
at
his
farm
house.
According
to
reports,
the
42-year-old
producer
allegedly
shot
himself
in
the
forehead
on
Saturday
night.
Sources
close
to
his
family
say
that
he
was
depressed
over
financial
matters.
V
Srinivas,
who
was
involved
in
real
estate
business,
went
to
his
six-acre
farm
house
on
Saturday
evening.
Before
committing
suicide,
the
producer
spoke
to
his
brothers
and
sisters
for
about
30
minutes.
He
reportedly
shot
himself
on
his
forehead
with
a
loaded
.32
mm
revolver
that
he
carried
along
with.
He
had
switched
off
his
mobile
phone
before
killing
himself.
When
they
did
not
get
any
response
from
his
cell
phone,
his
family
and
friends
suspected
something
fishy
and
came
to
the
farmhouse,
where
he
was
lying
in
a
pool
of
blood.
The
revolver
was
found
on
the
left
side
of
the
body.
However,
V
Srinivas
is
survived
by
wife
and
two
children.
The
police
sources
say
that
preliminary
investigation
is
pointing
to
suicide.
But
AMR
Ramesh,
who
is
directing
his
next
movie
Veerappan
Attahasa,
says
that
he
did
not
have
any
financial
problems
and
he
still
could
not
believe
that
he
killed
himself
out
of
depression.
