The book, which is co-authored by Prakruthi N Banavasi, an educationist, throws light at Rajkumar's life and his journey to stardom. Puneet Rajkumar said that he took eight years to complete the book. The pictures, in the book, are hugely contributed by many journalists, fans and friends.
Raghavendra Rajkumar said that we have 67 books on Rajkumar till date and Puneet Rajkumar's is the latest addition. The plan was first intiated in 1997, but it could not materialise. It is only after the death of Rajkumar, things started falling into place.
While the Kannada version of the book is priced Rs 2,250, the English version is Rs 2,750. The revenue generated by the book sale will be donated to improve the infrastructure of our government schools in Karnataka. The first copy was purchased by Parvathamma Rajkumar for Rs 1 lakh.
