Shahrukh Khan to attend Bengaluru Ganesh Utsava

Shahrukh to grace Bengaluru Ganesh Utsava
Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan will be the prime attraction of the 50th Bengaluru Ganesh Utsava, a major cultural festival of South Bangalore. The actor has given his nod to attend the 10-day event (19th-28th September) organised by Shree Vidyaranya Yuvaka Sangha, a social organisation that works towards upholding the rich tradition of culture and heritage through magnificent presentations of music, dance and drama.

The King Khan will be attending the event on September 24 at the APS College Grounds, Basavanagudi, Bangalore. Shahrukh Khan will be gracing the Sonu Nigam's musical evening, which will start at 7 pm. Apart from the Bollywood actor, some of the best known names in the Indian arts and entertainment industry like KJ Yesudas, Illaiyaraaja, music director Harikrishna, Shankar Mahadevan, Telugu musician Devi Sri Prasad, singers Pallavi Arun, Vijay Prakash and many more will be part of the 10-day event.

Since the time of its commencement, the grandeur, style and elegance of the Bengaluru Ganesh Utsava has been unparalleled. Year after year, over 1 million people gather at the event to celebrate the cultural extravaganza over a period of 11 days.

Eminent musicians, theatre groups and ballet troupes from all across the country have graced the Utsava with their presence and riveting performances. Smt MS Subbalakshmi, Mandolin Y Srinivas, Dr Balamurali Krishna, Dr KJ Yesudas, Usha Uthup, Gantasal, Sivamani, SP Balasubramanyam, P Unnikrishnan, PB Srinivas, Kunnakudi Vaidyanathan, Daler Mehendi had earlier enthralled the audiences with their exceptional artistic abilities.
