Shiva breaks the record of Jogayya

Shivaraj Kumar's much-hyped Shiva is hitting the screens in less than 15 hours. Well, it is all set to break the record of Jogayya, which was released in 217 theatres in Karnataka alone, in terms of screens. The latest movie of Shivanna is releasing in 225 screens in Karnataka alone.

Producer KP Srikanth has confirmed the news to Oneindia and said, "Shiva is creating a new history in Sandalwood. It is breaking the record of Prem directorial Jogayya in terms of screens. All in all, it is releasing in over 235 screens in South India. We are releasing in border regions of Karnataka like Hosur and some places in Andhra Pradesh."

This is said to be the biggest movie of Shivanna's career, as no recent movies of the actor had such a huge expectations. It is because Shiva, which also features Ragini Dwivedi, is coming together of the successful jodi: Shivaana and Om Prakash Rao, who had earlier delivered blockbusters like Simhadamari and AK 47.

Will this give a much-needed hit for Shivaraj Kumar? Only time can answer.
