Shivaraj
Kumar's
Shiva,
which
was
released
in
massive
235
screens,
got
thumbs
down
from
the
critics.
But
the
movie
managed
do
a
wonderful
business
in
the
opening
weekend
and
its
dream
run
has
continued
to
one
week.
A
source
says,
"Shiva
raked
in
around
Rs
4.50
crore
gross
in
the
opening
weekend
and
it
has
collected
around
Rs
6
crore
in
one
week.
In
the
week
days,
the
occupancy
was
above
50%
percent
in
the
regions
like
Mysore,
Belgaum,
Hosapet.
And
the
response
for
the
movie
in
Bangalore
is
far
better
than
other
regions."
"The
producer's
share
will
be
somewhere
around
Rs
4.5
crore.
It
is
expected
to
do
business
for
at
least
a
few
weeks
because
the
makers
of
the
film
are
aggressively
marketing
it
by
travelling
to
different
places," ends
the
source.
Shiva
is
a
revenge-drama,
directed
by
Om
Prakash
Rao
and
produced
by
KP
Srikanth.
The
movie
stars
Shivaraj
Kumar
and
Ragini
Dwivedi.
